Patronage Program
What is Patronage?
As a borrower of the Land Bank South, FLCA you become part-owner in the association. Profits from our successful operation can be returned to members in the form of a patronage refund.
The association's board of directors analyzes the financial strength of the cooperative near the end of every fiscal year. The board can vote to retain net income to strengthen the association's capital, or it can distribute a portion of the net income to borrowers through a patronage refund.
What is a patronage refund worth to me?
Our board of directors sets the amount of the patronage refund each year. The individual patronage refund you receive depends on the amount of business you do with the association.
Patronage refunds can significantly reduce your cost of borrowing money. They are another benefit of doing business with the Land Bank South, FLCA.
